Piggy’s Wicked Adventures
Just thought I’d put some pics of my little adventure at Wicked Sunday here on the blog- it was great but I thought it was a chocolate event- turns out I was too excited and miss the bit that it said “Coffee, cakes, gelati and more…” so I was disappointed that there wasn’t as much chocolate as originally thought. There was not a lot of free tastings too, is sad for me
LOL

There are lots of cupcakes stall which looks absolutely awesome, but we didn’t try any- some are really expensive, one little cup cake costs $3! I know it looks beautiful, but still!

We had the little dutch pancakes- bad choice- this one is $6 and I am pretty sure we could get better ones elsewhere .

Now I LOVE this icecream. Not only did they happily let us try different flavours, but they are seriously yummie! We bought a lime flavoured icecream- there are bits of lime rind in the icecream and it tasted divine!

Now on to the chocolate- it took us an hour to finally look at the map and realised that the chocolate stalls are somewhere else! LOL. This stall, Sisko is awesome. Once again they let me taste some of their chocolate and their orange crunch is yummie! But just look at their chocolate creation of the lotus flower! And if you think that was awesome, look at the other chocolate creation they made (on the left) and another cooking school made (right).

We also stumbled across Darren Purchese’s demo on making yummie desserts. Darren, who used to work for Vue de Monde, cooked up a beautiful looking chocolate pav. I don’t normally like pav but a chocolate pav sounds good! I actually ran up afterwards to see if I can try some
And Darren was like sure! But the MC was like no, sorry, OH&S issues whilst shoving that dessert into his mouth all that time!
Hummppphhhh

Lastly, can I say this is all Shoe Queen’s fault for wanting the free Foodies diary, but we got roped into the Lifestyle Channel Food Indulgences confession booth and confessed all our food sins for the Australia public to see :P! It was a good diary though
