Brought up in a Singaporean family, where the national past-time is to eat, Monky is no stranger to good food. Her parents are famous for their satay and laksa but her favourite home-cooked meal is mummy’s fried bee-hoon with extra omlette and fried onions on top. Monky loves to cook even more than she loves to eat, regularly trying to make her friends fat everytime they visit her home. While her friends are out buying new shoes and clothes, she’s stocking up her newly renovated kitchen and trying to justify to her hubby why she needs each and every item in her overflowing kitchen cupboards. If you are nice to her she may share a delicious recipe with you though she would probably enjoy making it for you even more.

This might be a bit of a surprise for you: Piggy really likes to eat. She also likes taking pics of food and drooling all over the pics she takes. But she also likes to cook. Her pet hate is food that’s not fresh, rude people (especially in customer service), if she has to wait too long for her food, unyummie food, restaurants pretending to be authentic but are not and it doesn’t taste good and she hates the heat. She loves Japanese food and can happily eat yummie Japanese food every day for every meal. She also really loves a good dark chocolate (none of that cheap Cadbury please!), plain is the safest. She love love loves pasta, especially seafood pasta. But she’s not really a fan of huge amounts of meat.
