Old team’s Xmas Breakkie@ Ludo Cafe

Little Piggy always go to Ludo for her breakkie, but just never had a chance to blog it for some reason. They do a mean pesto scrambled eggs (although a bit rich because of the buttery goodness in the eggs), they also do special requests, stuff like egg white, avocado, mushroom and tomato that NY and I love to order the many times we’ve been there.

This time I went for Christmas Eve breakkie with some old colleagues of mine, 20 or so rowdy people squished onto the mezzanine level of this very tiny cafe. You can imagine the level of stress the wait staff must have been in. To their credit, they did a great job of remembering everyone’s orders, got it right, and made all the breakkies perfectly.

I’ve decided to order the poached eggs with sage mushroom this time to avoid the buttery scrambled eggs, and it was soo sooo good. Normally I do like my egg quite cooked, but I didn’t mind Ludo’s semi-runny eggs because it soaks into the crunchy Turkish bread underneath it and it tasted so yummie! The sage with mushroom is just sensational.

Ludo is one of the best breakkie places I’ve been.
